Customer service, with an emphasis on custom

Duro-Last Live IRE Interview
March 27, 2024 at 3:00 a.m.

By Dani Sheehan.

Didn’t get a chance to make it to the Duro-Last booth during IRE? We’ve got you covered. Hear from Jason Dark for an update on their newest products and learn about their commitment to contractors.

As a roofing contractor, you probably check your local weather forecast before leaving your house each morning. If you work in Aspen, Colorado, you aren’t going to see blue skies in Denver and assume you can grab your shorts and sunglasses for the day. At Duro-Last®, they recognize that trusting a manufacturer is like trusting the weather. You might use the same roofing system across multiple projects, but there is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all when it comes to job sites. We caught up with Jason Dark of Duro-Last at the International Roofing Expo (IRE) for a live interview to learn more about their custom approach to customer relationships.

There was a great turnout for this year’s IRE and Jason was excited to talk to so many contractors about their new products. He shared, “The biggest thing on our radar right now is we're highlighting our DLX custom-cut-to-length roll good roof system. That's 51-foot roll. We've got them. 178-foot ridge to eave, we’ve got them. Obviously, the industry standard is 10 feet by 100 rolls. Of course we have those, but Duro-Last is built on customizing our roof system for contractors.”

Everything is custom when you work with Duro-Last; that’s been the Duro-Last difference for 45 years. If you’re a contractor looking to install and offer their products, Jason says, “We’re always looking for reputable contractors that do great work, that pay their bills and value a reciprocating relationship, or a tight partnership. We have a network of reps in the field who work closely with our contractors. If someone’s interested, we’ll get you connected with one of our reps in the field and walk you through the process and all the training.”

Duro-Last provides unmatched support to their contractors and prides themselves on the customer service they provide and the relationships they can build because of it. Watch the full interview below to learn more about their newest products and the work they are doing to reach their sustainability goals.
