What to Consider When Signing Licensed and Approved Applicator Agreements

Given the current material supply chain problems, the terms in licensed and approved applicator agreements are of utmost importance and being scrutinized when determining the rights of manufacturers and roofing contractors.

Stephen Phillips, senior partner, Hendrick Phillips Salzman & Siegel, P.C., Atlanta, will examine provisions often found in manufacturer-drafted applicator agreements that can be detrimental to roofing contractors and suggest revisions and additional provisions to make agreements more equitable and consistent with roofing contactors’ expectations.
