Using TopShield® products ensures quality and savings

The SRS TopCash loyalty program can help contractors earn extra money as they buy high-quality materials for their projects.  

In a recent episode of Roofing Road Trips, host Heidi J. Ellsworth spoke to Rick Rominger, director of private label for SRS Distribution. Rick has worked with SRS for almost five years now and has been in the roofing and building industries his entire life. He was specifically brought into SRS to help launch their TopShield® line, which he described as “a product line offering a consistent value and really high-quality products to our customers.” It is an exclusive product line for the SRS family of distributors, which allows them to ensure their customers have a product that has been well-researched and meets their high-quality standards. 

In addition to providing reliable, high-quality products, the TopShield line offers contractors an opportunity to use the TopCash program to get cash back for purchasing select TopShield products. Rick explained, “Basically a customer purchases an eligible product from any SRS distributor in the company. And once they register, we automatically track it and submit the purchase for cash back, so the customer receives it.” One of the amazing aspects of this program is that customers receive the cash back automatically, “they don't have to send in an invoice. They don't have to track it themselves. If they're buying an eligible product, the program handles everything for them.”  

The money is accessible through a TopShield debit card, which is the same as a standard MasterCard debit card with the addition of the TopShield logo. Rick went into the exact process, explaining “every week we track the purchases of every customer that has completed registration, and we send those into our provider that handles their card for us. And they in turn load the cards for the customers every month. The customers are given a website they can go on so they can check their balances.” Customers can use this opportunity to build their balance on purchases they were going to make anyway.
