As the roofing industry converged on the annual International Roofing Expo (IRE), one tech company captured early buzz on the show floor with tools designed to eliminate contractor headaches and streamline how roofing jobs get sold, estimated and financed. Leap, a field sales and customer relationship management (CRM) platform, is rolling out a major expansion in supplier integrations, a strategic move that could significantly boost contractor agility in a fast-paced materials market.
“Now with ABC we’re just finishing off our work with the big three,” said Jon Marigliano, national sales manager at Leap, referencing the company’s integrations with SRS Distribution, QXO and now ABC Supply. “The way the integration works too, it’s like live pricing, real up-to-date live pricing from your account. It pulls in right from your account so you can just toggle on and off.”
That real-time supplier data, combined with the ability to toggle between sources, gives contractors the freedom to shop smart and fast, often within seconds. As Jon stated, “It truly is a game-changer.”
The updates don’t stop at materials. Leap’s financial technology (fintech) capabilities are now front and center, with a fresh focus on embedded lending through its SalesPro app. According to Sarah Edwards, senior account manager on Leap’s fintech team, the platform’s universal credit application simplifies what’s often a pain point in home improvement sales.
“We have a universal credit application, so it's one application, shoots out to all of your lenders that you've brought in, you've selected, you have relationships with,” explained Sarah. “It's all soft credit pulls. There's no ding on the consumer credit until they pick the loan that they've already been approved for.”
The experience isn’t just smoother for homeowners, it’s smarter for contractors, too. Sales reps can avoid awkward conversations around budget constraints and convert more leads by presenting projects in digestible monthly payments.
While the software’s upgrades are attracting buzz, Leap’s real appeal may lie in how it’s collapsing fragmented systems into one sleek, mobile-friendly interface. For contractors juggling estimates, pricing, proposals and financing — often on the go — that consolidation could be the edge they’ve been waiting for.
