gFour Marketing’s entire purpose is to provide home improvement businesses with relationship marketing tools that will turn customers into five-star reviews, ongoing referrals and repeat business. In a new episode of Roofing Road Trips®, Megan Ellsworth got the chance to talk to Rebecca Mayo, the director of partnerships at gFour, about how they have quietly been helping home improvement businesses thrive for years.
One of the big things that gFour focuses on for companies is the establishment of a referral program. Rebecca explained, “We aim to help our customers prioritize the customer experience because we want to make sure that they are leaving the best possible taste in the customers mouth so that they turn around and refer the business to their friends and family without a question.” The key to getting those referrals is to put yourself in the mind of the buyer and figure out what will keep them coming back.
This is something that can often slip to the backburner for contractors as they work to keep up with the busy day-to-day needs of running their businesses. That’s where gFour comes in. Rebecca shared some of what they do, saying, “We can come in and really operate on the back end of these businesses making sure that we are consistent and we are actively putting out those thank you notes, sending referral requests, asking the client for five-star reviews and more.” Not only does this ongoing connection to the existing client often lead to repeat business, but it can also be the key to getting referrals and new leads. Rebecca explained, “This is a great way to generate that new leads without having to increase your margin, and referrals convert at over a fifty percent conversion rate, so a very high rate.”
