These Two Companies are Working Together and Saving Contractors Time!

Project Map it Saving Time
May 23, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.

By Project Map It.

The integration of Project Map It and CompanyCam will help you close more deals and save time, letting you easily show off your project photos and videos to prospects.

It’s now easier than ever to show off your CompanyCam photos to potential customers, because CompanyCam and Project Map It have officially integrated! This new integration allows users to push their photos from their CompanyCam accounts directly to their Project Map It accounts.

Some people ask, “Aren’t you both a photo documentation platform? The short answer is yes, but both companies are great in their own right. CompanyCam is the gold standard for photo documentation.  With CompanyCam, you can annotate on the photos, you can take raw videos and share them with the client and much more. At PMI, we like to say CompanyCam is a photo documentation system on steroids. With Project Map It, you can show off your photos and videos on each project pin on the map, along with the reviews from that homeowner… all filterable by product type, product colors and services you provide. We like to say we are a digital portfolio on steroids!

So how does the integration work? Easily, that’s how. When you are in your CompanyCam account, you have the ability to choose which photos you want to send over to PMI. You may have 150 project photos for a certain client, but only want to send over five photos to your PMI portfolio. All you have to do is select the photos you want to send over to PMI and tag them using CompanyCam’s tagging system.  When you tag the project, it will trigger CompanyCam to send those five photos over to your portfolio, making it so you don’t have to do any kind of double data entry.

Our current customers love the integration. Mona Chapman and the team over at Chesco and Sons says, “It’s so easy and saves us a ton of time syncing photos from CompanyCam to our PMI portfolio. We love it!” The goal is to always make it easier for contractors to update their portfolio through integrations like CompanyCam.
