John Beal Roofing, a Maryland Heights, Missouri-based roofing service with three generations of St. Louis roofers, recently hosted the first USO of Missouri Day – raising $22,000 to support the USO of Missouri, active military and their families.
“The men and women who risk their lives for our freedom always need recognition and support,” said CEO of John Beal Roofing, Sam Maiden. “We were thrilled to welcome so many to our facility to raise awareness, and more importantly, raise funds for the USO of Missouri.”
John Beal Roofing matched each donation up to $10,000 to further assist the USO of Missouri in fulfilling its mission to strengthen Missouri’s active military and their families for their service to our nation.
“The USO of Missouri is truly humbled by the patriotism and support of the John Beal team. We are honored to partner with such a company,” said Kathy O’Connor, Executive Director of USO of Missouri.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony of John Beal’s new facility kicked-off USO of Missouri Day. Attendees enjoyed tours of the facility, food, games and various giveaways for sports tickets, VIP concert tickets, movies passes and a new roof from John Beal Roofing.
Due to the widespread popularity and success of the event, the City of Maryland Heights issued an official proclamation to declare June 16 as USO of Missouri Day.
