At the 2025 Florida Roofing and Sheet Metal Contractors Association (FRSA) convention, Karen Edwards spoke with Dan Monroe, strategic account manager for JobNimbus, to discuss the CRM’s newest features. Since 2013, JobNimbus has provided contractors with CRM and project management software combined into one simplified application.
“Our motto is to really help contractors become heroes,” Dan stated. “We want to help them make profits, save time and be able to then utilize that time to spend with their families so they can do their job, move forward and have a great time.”
JobNimbus’ newest tool, Profit Tracker, is now available to make this motto even more of a reality. Designed to help contractors stop losing money or guesstimating how profitable a job is, Profit Tracker allows contractors to input data fields like estimates, material orders and receipts so they can see the cost of the job materials and labor costs in comparison to their end profit from the job.
“It gives a digital view of every point of the company, whether it’s the owner trying to understand how profitable they are, if it’s the office staff trying to report on commissions or if you’re a project manager trying to see if they are on target or spending more than they thought a job would cost,” Dan shared.
Profit Tracker replaces JobNimbus’ previous tool, Budgets, which wasn’t as comprehensive, informative or optimized for streamlined workflows.
“When we did our beta test [for Profit Tracker], we started with about 200 customers,” Dan shared. “The majority of them fully adopted the Profit Tracker reporting and stopped using Budgets. We're slated to get about 1500 more companies onboarded if they haven't already made the switch. The companies that I've been personally working with love the tool.”
