AEP Span Underlayment HT is a high-tensile strength, rubberized, asphalt underlayment specifically designed to withstand temperatures up to 250°F (121°C). This concealed waterproofing system will not detract from the architectural aesthetics of a primary roofing system and seals around roofing nails, staples and screws. 

AEP Span Underlayment HT is a strong, skid-resistant membrane that provides superior protection from water penetration caused by wind-driven rain and ice dams. 

Our split-release film provides easier, faster installation and resists cracking, drying and rotting, providing long-term waterproofing performance and low life cycle cost. 

AEP Span Underlayment HT is backed by our defect warranty and will display optimal performance when stored under recommended conditions and used within one year of manufacture date. 

AEP Span Underlayment HT is offered for all roofing products and is required to be used with the following standing seam roof products to be eligible for a Manufacturer’s Limited Weathertightness Warranty:
