Contractors looking to tighten margins and streamline their sales process heard a clear message during a recent webinar hosted by Leap and improveit 360: profitable growth starts with smarter quoting and cleaner data. The session, led by Jon Marigliano of Leap and Evan Klaus of improveit 360, walked contractors through the ways integrated systems can eliminate double entry, reduce errors, speed up follow-ups and boost close rates.
Jon started the conversation by acknowledging the emphasis contractors have on maintaining growth. “Everyone's thinking about growth—how to hit higher revenue goals, expand their teams, enter new markets. But growth only matters if it's profitable growth,” he stated. “The right tools can help you protect margins, eliminate errors, and set your teams up to scale effectively.”
Evan said the biggest profitability risks often begin at the top of the funnel, especially for contractors handling high lead volumes. “As volume grows, things can get messy pretty fast,” he said. “Without a CRM or proper tools and processes in place to manage that flow, you can start to lose control over time.
