At the International Builders Show (IBS), Franklin International showcased Titebond products designed to support contractors working across roofing, construction, landscaping and outdoor living projects. In the show village outdoor section, Jessica Robbins with Titebond highlighted the company’s landscape adhesive as one solution for contractors building retaining walls and other exterior features. “This one in particular is our landscape adhesive. It’s our PROvantage line. So that’s our VOC compliant solvent formulation,” Jessica said. “This is great for any kind of landscape blocks, retaining walls outside, great for your outdoor projects.”
For contractors, that kind of application matters as outdoor living spaces continue to include more hardscaping, masonry and structural landscape elements. Jessica noted the adhesive is suited for capstones along retaining walls and other outdoor projects where dependable bonding is needed.
Jessica also introduced Titebond’s new UA 920 sealant, describing it as “a reformulated urethane acrylic product” for both interior and exterior use. “It’s a class 35 sealant, so it’s going to expand and contract up to 35% of that joint size,” Jessica said. “It’s great for window and door applications outside. And it comes in 12 different colors, so it’s perfect for any kind of color matching situation that you might have.”
That flexibility gives contractors another option for projects where both performance and appearance matter, particularly around windows, doors and other visible exterior details.
From retaining walls to building envelope applications, adhesives and sealants remain essential to durable outdoor construction. For contractors taking on more complex exterior spaces, products that support bonding, sealing and color matching can help bring those projects together more efficiently.
