The Sales Operations Analyst role requires a deep and broad understanding of the commercial roofing industry, effective navigation of John Manville’s Roofing Systems business, processes, and products, combined with a passion around building collaborative relationships with internal partners and external customers. Successful analysts are able to proactively evaluate multiple sources of information and compile recommendations and solutions to win a roofing sale.

Your Day-to-Day:

Own the Sales Opportunity Pipeline: Be the initial point of contact for Sales Opportunity support, including project mining, roofing document interpretation & recommendations, opportunity entry & updates, information accuracy, and proactive pipeline management. Collaborate with Sales, Service, and the customer to coordinate project support requests, provide solutions, and continuously follow up to close the sale.

Own and facilitate the Guarantee process: coordinate & configure Guarantee application data from Sales Opportunity process, support Guarantee application submission, connect Guarantee with the Sales Opportunity process, ensure all Guarantee requirements met, manage billing & invoicing, manage change requests, and front line support for the customer portal.

Cross-functional Collaboration & Relationships: Proactively manage projects by effectively navigating business processes across internal partners by working closely with and developing relationships across internal partners including Sales Representatives, Field Technical Representatives, Specifier Services, Tech Specialists, Account Managers, Account Specialists, and Regional Service Managers.

Customer Partner & Advisor: Be a trusted partner and advisor to customers by providing quick and accurate solutions for customers through a solid understanding of low-slope roofing systems and the construction sales process.

Sales Enablement & Strategy: Partner with Sales team to develop, execute, and manage the sales strategy in the assigned territory. Conduct market research and analysis.

Salesforce Subject Matter Expert: Be the Salesforce subject matter expert (SME) in the job management process, including providing training, process support, and facilitating reporting.

Reporting & Analysis: Report and analyze large sets of data from the Sales Opportunity process to support informed decision making, including changes in market and customer dynamics.

Troubleshooting & Data Governance: Troubleshoot data quality issues, maintain accurate data, and support ongoing data hygiene projects. Support best practices for document control (work instructions, references) and naming conventions.

Continuous Improvement: Engage with Commercial Excellence, Sales, and Service teams to streamline and optimize complex business processes by defining and implementing improvements while keeping the customer experience at the heart of the business.
