Job Summary
The position requires handling incoming inquiries from customers via phone, email, or walk-ins, as well as from our outside LITSCO sales reps. You will learn about how to build and develop client relationships to ensure the best experience for our accounts. Our ideal candidate has sales experience in our field, excellent presentation, willingness to learn, a competitive attitude, and a solution-driven approach to materials and project management. This position offers the opportunity to focus on both business development and project materials.
DUTIES
• Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, and product uses.
• Generate price quotations in a timely manner
• Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests.
• Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
• Liaison with waterproofing materials vendors for technical information and product submissions
• Provide support to Outside Salesforce
• Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
• Provide customers with product samples and catalogs.
• Obtain credit information about prospective customers.
• Adhere to pricing guidelines set by Branch Manager

Requirements
• Experience with commercial waterproofing, sealants, air/vapor barrier, coatings, and concrete repair products is a plus!
• 2+ years construction sales, preferably waterproofing and/or concrete repair
• 2+ years of college or military service
• Self-motivated, independent, reliable
• Ability to work with a variety of people including those with English as a second
language
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to develop bills of materials, quantity estimates, and full quotations to clients
• Ability to read specifications and plans
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office products such as Word,
Outlook, Excel, and takeoff programs such as Bluebeam
• Valid Driver’s license and insurable driving record

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
