Hillsboro marks the fifth roofing shingle plant IKO operates in the United States, and the sixth new manufacturing facility since 2013.
With a focus on innovative products and processes, the company proactively identifies opportunities to remain one of the most technologically advanced roofing manufacturers in North America. In the new plants, and in modernization efforts across all facilities, IKO is using the most up-to-date technology in manufacturing. This, along with vertical integration provides tremendous control over the quality and consistency of products and allows for new innovations like Dynasty® with ArmourZone®.
The new facility represents the company’s ongoing commitment to the roofing industry, response to demand and an optimistic industry outlook.
