I have always prided myself on creating Web Sites that were number 1 Page 1 on a Google search.
I don't like paying for hits or spending money on advertising. The money I save and make with this pays for a lot of Hershey Bars and entertaining Candy Strippers. One must always put important thing in prospective.
I have seen many sites where the Home Page is flash, Pics music. The Bots and Spiders do not read them unless you name them but very little credit is given.
Bots and Spiders are simple little creatures. You take the key words and phrases and put them in bold and they go, oh, I see what you want.
First is content, content content. Next is Backlinks where on your links page you put up a URL with someone in a like type field and they add the URL to their link site. Lets take MikeH, if he was looking to increase his Polyurea traffic he would be wise to back link to one of my old companies Polyurea Sites and back again or I would more highly reccomend he create a site just for Hicks Polyurea. I like to stay completely on one subject per site.
The Use of YouTube on the site or bringing pictures from anything google owns is a big plus as well.
After I submitt my site to all the search engines I give it a week or two and Post my link in a PHP site, this is a PHP site and its all roofing, boom.
I give it a few weeks to know google has found me and than I click this Site http://www.seocentro.com/tools/search-engines/metatag-analyzer.html I have been doing this so long I know I am going to be all green.
I than run other sites that are in front of mine through the same link and see why they are ahead of me and start plowing them down.
The Bots also like fresh meat. This is where blogs come in. Write something relevant about your company what you did that day week whatever and paste it as a PDF file to your home page. It takes little room but says it all.
I gots more, lets see if this goes anywhere. :)
Lefty Said: Tom, My son Jesse manages the day to day operations of the company.
Oh, I used to love to put that in my old Aditorials and than Press Releases.
"Leftys son Jessee was the project manager of this complex job. As a family run business Jessee will take over the business in the future when Lefty retires"
Tom, My son Jesse manages the day to day operations of the company.
Man Lefty, your smokin hot, is your son still at it?
The articles I post on each site has a backlink to another article on the site. It has a backlink to one of the other sites.
Plus it has a backlink to Holencik Roofing, Holencik Exteriors, Holencik Gutters and Holencik Insulation.
I also have bold letters to the keyword I use in the article.
I am always listen when you speak Tom. Leakmon is the one who told me not to work for the 10% that are on unemployment and working for the 90% that are still working.
I am not as diligent as you. I have a lot of little sites. I am trying to build a gutter cleaning business. Low overhead, low equipment cost, low callbacks, repeat business and your labor costs are also realitively low.
I have 40 sites. One for each town that I service. Here are a few of them. Some of the articles will also be listed on the first page of Goggle.
http://littlegapguttercleaning.com/http://kutztownguttercleaning.com/http://jimthorpeguttercleaning.com/
I am leaseing these sites on a monthly basis I can put one up for any town. I had talked to Vickie about advertizing here, but just have not had the time to handle more then a few customers. I figured if I advertized I would get overwhelmed.
I also have sites for installing seamless gutter. This site is on page 5 of Goggle right now. But I still get work from it.
