57 isn't old unless you are 27. Things do take longer to do and they hurt a lot more too. It takes me about 10 steps to straighten my back when I stand afater sitting a long time.

With that said, I see people without legs and that makes me re-think about complaining about my sore knees. There is always someone older or in worse shape.>>>

Grandaughter was here this evening. she is 10 leaving on a vacation with a friend (rich family) houses all over. I just smirk. I am so ordinary. I like me. She loves me , calls me KOOL. She likes my new phone, I just laugh and hug her.

On the vacation bit, I was in early fifties before MY first vacation...3 days in Cape May. NJ. I can hardly contain myself. If your not laughing you should be.

ED Nostalgic YES... I think they call it MID LIFE CRISIS... I am so there. I am in the middle of parents and children & grandchildren. Wouldn't have it any other way. You will love this....I'm going to jail. I thought my story was over apparantly not . I was scared at first now I take things in stride. Another story. Next Tuesday I am gone but Friday I am back.
