We were on a 31 sq, two layer rip this week. Took the opportunity use this project as a start for recycling the old shingles. A local start up is grinding up old shingles. Magnet at the top of the conveyor pulls out the nails be fore the ground up mater>>>
Our schedule is pretty much booked from now until end of October. All of the jobs scheduled are tear offs with the exception of the occasional repair and chimney flashing. This sets us up for a good shot at recycling most of our remaining work. As Lefty>>>
Andy, the company is really pushing it, I have had at least 2 calls a month from them to use them. They even said they will drop the first dumpster free for me to use to see if I like it. I told them that when I get a tearoff, I will give them a try. Not>>>

Hi Hatrick,
I think there is a place near Boston that take shingles.>>>
This recycling is not for the faint-of-heart or under-capitalized. It's been five years and 7 million in greenbacks from inception to implementation. As traffic volume builds and economies of scale kick in, the business model should develope into a pret>>>
I'd like to start a recycling shingle company here in NH. I think it's a great idea!!>>>

The company we would use would provide the dumpster.
It would cost us less to dump and we could charge more for th>>>
Yeah, Old School, but the challenge is getting the crew trained and used to the idea of sorting out the unwanted materials. We left it all in a separate pile. That will get sent to the landfill along with the household cleaning residue from my honey-do li>>>
Andy, We started using them last month down here in Kalamazoo. Very good idea. Less expensive too. I was talking to the guy the other day and they get the equivalent of 2 barrels of oil from each ton and the paving company wants ALL that they can get.>>>
Been thinking along those lines, Lefty. This company was given a great write up in the local Press, and also got some time on at least one 6 pm news program. That got our customers lit up. Since the publicity, our customers are asking some very pointed>>>
Hi,
I am trying to figure out how to do it myself, Andy.
There is a place close enough to us now.
I would definetly use it in your advertizing and sales pitch.
You may even be able to charge a premium for this service. Even though you will actually>>>
