Wow. Funny how prices vary so much from area to area. I was talking to an installer just outside of Orlando, Florida and he told me the economy is so bad there that some guys are doing 5" for as low as $3.50 a foot and 7" is going for around $6.00 a f>>>

Most of our roofs around here are tile or metal. The tile typically overhangs the drip edge by two inches or so, so the extra large size works great for that. Besides, we've been getting $15/Ft. for it and $18/Ft for complicated projects.>>>

I have a 5". It is used everyday.
Next year we should have a 6".
7" seems big. We do not get the volume of water to warrant that size.>>>
