This fall, put your estimating skills to the test with the RoofScope "How Big Is This Roof?" Challenge.
Review the roof photo, make your best guess in roofing squares and enter for a chance to win $500 in RoofScope Cash and a customized gift box. The challenge is open through January 1, and the winner will be announced on January 27.
Submit your guess by the end of the day on Friday, January 23. Study the structure closely. Look at the layout, slope changes and footprint. Every section contributes to the total roofing squares.
A roofing square is a standard roofing measurement equal to 100 square feet of roof area, visualized as a 10-by-10-foot section. For example, a 2,000-square-foot roof equals 20 roofing squares. Submit your guess using roofing squares only.
Share the challenge with your team or fellow contractors and see who can get the closest. Entries close soon, so be sure to submit your guess before the deadline.
