Here at RoofersCoffeeShop® (RCS) we pride ourselves in being a space for the industry to meet and learn from one another’s experiences. A great example of this is our RCS Influencers program, which brings timely questions to industry leaders and shares their insights with professionals like you!
Through the RCS Influencers’ insights, readers get powerful tips and advice based on each leaders’ interactions and experiences in the industry. We would like to share some of the highlights from our influencers in the last year for your education and enjoyment:
In this article, Rudy Gutierrez, the president and CEO of SHELL Roofing Solutions Group out of Los Angeles, California, shares his thoughts on how his company is transitioning into online ordering for a variety of reasons, including health, safety and efficiency!
On the same topic, RCS President Heidi J. Ellsworth shared her insights onto why online ordering, delivery and payment will stick around long after the restrictions of 2020. She explains, “We were already used to ordering from Amazon and catching an Uber. COVID took us one more step in the direction of technology with the everyday use of Door Dash deliveries, online classes for our children and virtual meetings of every type so we could shelter in.”
On the topic of how this year has changed how we operate, Mike Pickel of Texas Traditions Roofing shared some advice on how roofing contractors can communicate and keep working through the Coronavirus pandemic, because as he puts it, “Roofs don’t stop leaking during a pandemic.”
In another influencer article, Wendy Marvin of Matrix Roofing shared her thoughts on navigating the unprecedented challenges of this last year. The main point? You are your business’s main advocate and best chance to emerge on the other side of the pandemic.
Rudy Gutierrez made our top insight list again with his article focused on best practices and business strategies during the Coronavirus pandemic. In it, he shares what SHELL Roofing is doing in response to the pandemic, such as hiring a company to disinfect their workspaces, limiting team members in the office and reducing the number of workdays.
Overall, this has been a turbulent year and we are still not sure what the future holds. But through it all, you can be assured that RoofersCoffeeShop will be reaching out to these incredible leaders for articles, podcasts and videos that will help you navigate what’s next.
