New construction, 70 square of Tamko Lamarite 12 inch fake slate (Green) 12/12 pitch. Picture three buildings, two parallel to each other and one connecting the two with valleys. 18 square of lead coated copper standing seam with 2 valleys and two dormers>>>

The choice of fake slate was made by the architect not me. I did hundreds of square for this guy on his house and barns. I think in the end it will be real Vermont slate to match everything else. One thing also is the weight factor and how the building co>>>

copperman i respect you so with all due respect, i have to ask..... why? i get calls all the time for fake slate and i turn it down every time, as a slater i have principal toxic roofs are extremely costly long term, i can't put my reputation on failed p>>>

Terry $750 would not buy the metal. I got a price of $8.00 a square ft. It takes 130 square ft to cover one square. Lamarites go for $380.00 a square and hip and ridge are $55.00 a bundle (200 ft) My bid went in at $103,577.00 Figured 25 days labor>>>

About 50 years ago, the architect specked a green patina for a copper roof over a kiosk. At my dads suggestion we obtained several containers of urine from the stables of our local Fairmount Park Guards - and the results were perfect.>>>

In 2006 we installed a 76 square, 8/12 Lamarite for $83,000. This price did not include the scaffolding that was erected. We did tear off old slate but were able to salvage about half of it for our stock. Since it is new construction, your labor costs>>>
