I'm a firm believer in ZMaxx. It has two bottles in the package, one for the engine and another for the gas tank. Cost is about $40 which is kinda pricey but it does work. I do the treatment after every oil change.

I'm not up on gasoline engines, but I do know that if you drive a diesel and run road fuel in it , you need to be using some type of lub. additive. Since diesel has been cut to 15PPM sulfur , just about all the lubricant that sulfur provides has been taken out. At this level of sulfur in diesel fuel it is not good for the longivity of your diesel engine and it's components. I use a product made by Schaeffer, takes just 3 oz. to 15 gal of fuel to bring the lub.ability back to where it wood be if the fuel was back to it's normal PPM of sulfur. I also use Schaeffer oil, it is pure oil, with a moly agent built in. I went to a demonstration last year, that compared Schaeffer to any product you wanted to bring in.....I was sold on the schaeffer, hands down. It's not that expensive either, you just can't buy it on the shelf here. You have to get from a private party or set up an account with the company to get it shipped in.>>>

apparently it's for any conbustable fuel, diesel or gas. It's a fuel "burn rate modifier and lubricant". My BIL gave me a packet to put in my car. Weren't you guys all talking about it 6 months ago. The search is not working to look it up.>>>
