I just got back from visiting my mom's dash. I keep a candle burning by her dash.

It is snow covered with a coating of ice. I remembered how as a kid I would walk on the snow and try not to leave an imprint.

If you like reconciling opposites, which I do, that adds new meaning and another dimension to the expression, "Dash your hopes." They call that irony. I am always amazed at how words just float on top of magma, like a thin crust.>>>

I read of a man who stood to speak at the funeral of a friend. He referred to the dates on her tombstone from the beginning...to the end.

He noted that first came the date of her birth and spoke>>>

Every headstone has two numbers, seperated by a dash. Something like: John Smith 1935-2008

The dates don't mean much, it's the dash that matters.>>>

The Golden Rule is the first thing that comes to mind for me , I think we all know what that is.

The Bible says it is better to have or leave a good name than many riches. I hope that I can be remembered as a man that had compassion on his fellow man , g>>>

What if there were one tenant to live by what would it be for you ? What will reflect your character when your pass ? How will you be remembered ? For me every thing we need to know about life is wrapped up in Love the lord your God with all your heart w>>>
