Just got off the phone with one of our suppliers.
Shingles are going up at the end of August - 3-tabs up $2.50/sq., dimensional up $3.25/sq., Alcoa gutter products up 5% on 9/11, other metals up 3% - 5% at the end up August.
I had only called to order some solder - $21.43 per pound bar. A 100 lb. roll of copper is up to $483.00.

This is getting to be a monthly increase, these guys got you by the you know what, and they continue to apply more pressure. UNCLE! already.>>>

I guess you can put the money you would have spent on a pack of cigs, and it should pay for the increase on one sq. per day. :)>>>
