Funny you post this topic now. This morning I just finished installing 2 4'x8' sheets of pegboard in the garage of my new home for my workshop. The h.depot only sold white- smooth one side and brown-rough on the other. Which is the front?? I thought>>>

I found some heavy duty velcro wrap ties at Homey's ...12 to a pack...I roll the hose up, then wrap a tie on it and I'm good to roll.>>>

There are a couple of ways to keep your hoses manageable.

First you can coil the hoses and wire tie them in place. Wire ties are cheap.

Or, coil them into a 5 gallon bucket. It keeps them from tangling and makes them easy to carry and store.

We have a section of pegboard with the holes drilled out oversize. We keep hundreds of fittings on hand there, stuffed in the holes so we can get at them quickly without digging around in a greasy box for them. Works great.>>>

Woody, if you can afford the fittings, you can do what we do. We cut our hoses into 12" lengths and put a fitting on each end. At the end of the day, we take them all apart and stack them in special boxes. The bonus is that when you put your hoses tog>>>

Today my wife mentioned peg board. We are buying a new house with a over and under 2k sq ft garage and she made the comment, "You will be able to put up peg board to hang up all your tools at the new house".

I had the smaller holed pegboard and numerous of the larger diameter hooks...just drill the holes out as I need them.

They make a black plastic clip that hold the hook in.>>>
