I consider myself the new guy here. I came here looking for some opinions and maybe giving some, and yes, maybe snivel and whine. I feel that our company might be doing a little better than some here as far as work goes. We have about twenty jobs sold but can't do em till spring. ( all insurance work ) I think our climate has alot to do with this. We are in the hail capital of the u.s. the 5 or 6 windiest city so we can usally rely on mother nature for work. Another thing we have going for us is the phasing out of the T-lock shingles since most of the roofs here have those on them. Insurance companies are paying for new roofs for those who have any of those shingles on their house, all it takes is to have one shingle missing or a couple hail hits. Insurance code is if you can't match the shingle they have to give you a new roof. Insurance companies are paying for the upgrade from t-locks (25 yr ) to the dimensional(30 yr) so this has helped bring in work. So i consider myself lucky. Wish i could spread the work around to everybody.>>>

Ya your right Robert. Know what's going on. Assume nothing so you are not assuming the position later on>>>
Now dont be assuming anything chuck!>>>
Robert You know as well as I do . If it is a matching issue you already should know the answer. I don't speak for Allstate. I work for a Catastrophe Company that handles Allstate , State Farm , Family , Citizens and a few other smaller companies. The answer as you well understand it is in the contract the homeowner has with the company. I hope I'm not assuming something here maybe I am .>>>
Does this mean Allstate will buy it now?I have some wedgewood down sure would hate to have to patch with black.>>>
