Has anyone installed Echo Star Slate ?

I will be doing my first one next week and looking for any tips or advice you may have to offer. The install guide says to pre-bend the tiles before nailing. ???>>>

We got the job done this week. Very easy to install and clean to work with. Easy to back bend as per directions. THe product seems kind of thin, not as thick or strong as Tamko Lamarite Slate. But hey, it's re-cycled !>>>

Use Tamko Lamarite next time as there is no pre-bending required. If you hold the two products side by side you will also see a difference. The eco-star is paper thin compared to Lamarite.>>>

WE have done 4 jobs in the last 12 months with the Eco Star, totaling about 100 squares. I hope it is reasonably warm where you are working. It is important to prebend the tiles in BOTH directions before nailing them down. We also hand nail them so tha>>>
