How do you estimate? Home Depot salesmen do it from the ground as I'm told. Sounds like a way to overlook or miss something when it's 2 or more stories. So, what's your preference and how does it work? Different methods for different situations?>>>

well homedepot estimates from the ground because it does not matter if the roof is one or two layers for them. If you look at their pricing you will see why, i am sure they are priced the same around the country / BOBO>>>

Usually, I get up on the roof and take physical measurements. New construction is a different story, then I work from the prints and confirm the measurements when it's built.>>>
