Has anyone had any experience with short term disability insurance?
Years ago we took out a short term policy on my husband since his job allowed the distince possibility of injury (yeah yeah,,, I know... roofing is safe).

Sounds like a nasty business, Terry. I can't help with anything specific, except to agree with JSC. I know that when they act like that and essentially refuse to pay they usually end up refusing to pay. Why lose another 45 days? An attorney could be>>>

I agree with JSC. My disability policy only covers accidents (not illnesses).>>>

That's a tough one, Terry. The only thing I can think of is to consult a "good" attorney who is experienced in bad faith litigation with insurance companies.>>>
