About 25 years ago I installed an asphalt shingle roof that was solid blue with two tabs that were shaped like diamonds. Has anybody seen them recently? Can they still be bought? Who sells them?>>>
Your are wrong about Fry-they still remain in busines. It is just that Owens-Corn ing bought Lloyd Fry and continue on as Owens-Corning.>>>
Didnt atlas recently make those shingles as recently as about 10 or 12 years ago>>>
We still have some roofs with those type shingles on them, i was told that they were from the mid 50s to early 60s and that the manufacture was Fry don't know that for sure tho. I do know one thing.... they suck to tearoff... crumble in lil pieces. I always called them alligator shingles cause of their texture.>>>
ti-lock diamonds.......... there's some old geezer down near jacksonville hording them in the hopes that some day a tornado will go thru Buffalo, and he'll make a killing.>>>
