Actually, I like your first answer! With Ford being at about $2.50 the down side is very low and the upside wouldn't have to be much to make up the difference in the price of shingles.

rather than tie the money up in materials you should invest it in the stock market. That way when spring comes it won't matter what the price of shingles are your profits will more than cover any material increases.... :whistle:>>>
