Description:

The GAF Roofing Academy, in partnership with Tecta America, will be hosting a free introduction to commercial roofing installation training on Tuesday, March 19th - Friday, March 22nd. Graduates will receive a GAF Roofing Academy Certification. Completion of the program signals to roofing employers that the graduates have the proper entry-level skills for a commercial roofing installation career. Graduates will also have the opportunity to earn their OSHA 10 for free, outside of training hours, per student request. Upon completion, graduates will have the opportunity to interview with Tecta America for full-time employment for one of two of their New England locations.

Dates:

March 19th - 22nd

• Tuesday - Thursday: 8:30am-3pm
• Friday: 8:30am - 12pm (Interviews with Tecta America in the afternoon)

Program Details:

-This program will focus on teaching the basics of low slope commercial roofing installation.

-The graduates of the class will have the knowledge and skills to enter into the commercial roofing industry.

-Graduates will receive a certificate of completion as a GAF Roofing Academy Graduate.

-Upon Completion, graduates will have the opportunity to interview with Tecta America for full-time employment for either their North Billerica or Brockton, Massachusetts locations.

-Light breakfast and lunch provided each day.

-Transportation to and from training facility is the responsibility of the attendee.
