The Tapco Elite Roofing Award is open to all contractors/installers. Projects must have utilised the TapcoSlate and/or DaVinci Select Shake roofing products and been completed between 1st January 2021 to 15th July 2026.

Select Shake is constructed of a composite material made of virgin resins, UV and thermal stabilisers as well as a highly-specialised fire retardant. The result is a state-of-the-art tile that gives the greatest degree of colour control and consistency in the manufacturing process and an end product that endures beautifully in any climate.

The outstanding 2025 Tapco Elite Roofing Awards winners include everything from newbuild homes to a historical hotel to an energy-efficient country home.

These three residential projects and one commercial project all meet the highest criteria for excellence in installation work with Tapco Roofing Products. Each one has outstanding visual impact. The top honours for residential projects are awarded to:

• H I Building Contractors Ltd., located in Horsham, West Sussex, for their installation of a TapcoSlate roof on a new build project located in Cowfold in 2021. 
• RF Roofing Ltd., out of Coldstream, Berwickshire, for their installation of an energy efficient TapcoSlate roof on a new build project located in Lanark, Scotland in 2024. 
• Visions of Oxford Ltd., based in Oxford, Oxfordshire, for their three-stage replacement/new build project that started in 2018 and wrapped up in 2023 located in Cumnor, Oxford.

The commercial project receiving top honours is:

• Dean Potts Roofing Ltd., from Upper Collwall, Malvern, for their re-roof of the historic Malvern Hills Hotel & Restaurants in 2020, located in Malvern, Worcestershire.
