IIBEC is accepting nominations to recognize outstanding contributions to the building enclosure industry and the association itself. Honors cover leadership, volunteer service, education, research, technical publications, emerging professionals and lifetime achievement.
Awards include:
President's Award
Recognizes individuals who have made a significant contribution to IIBEC during the past year. Recipients are selected at the discretion of the sitting IIBEC president.
Volunteer of the Year Award
Honors a volunteer whose service and contributions to IIBEC have stood out above all others during the previous year.
Joe F. Hale Lifetime Achievement Award
IIBEC's highest honor, recognizing a lifetime of extraordinary service and contributions to the success of the organization and the building enclosure profession.
Richard M. Horowitz Award
Presented for the best technical article published in IIBEC Interface during the previous year.
Emerging Professional Award
Recognizes industry professionals under 40 or within their first 10 years of practice who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, professionalism, and industry impact.
Joshua J. Summers Outstanding Educator Award
Honors individuals who have made exceptional contributions to IIBEC education through teaching, course development, presentations, webinars and other educational initiatives.
William C. Correll Award
Recognizes an IIBEC staff member who has demonstrated outstanding professionalism, leadership, ethics and dedication to advancing the organization.
Herbert W. Busching, Jr. PhD Memorial Award
Presented to individuals who have made meaningful contributions to industry research, standards development and education related to roofing, waterproofing, and exterior wall systems.
Induction into the IIBEC Jury of Fellows
Recognizes distinguished members whose careers and service have made a lasting impact on IIBEC and the building enclosure profession.
