El Día de Roofing Day in DC es Muy Importante Para el Futuro y el Èxito de la Industria de Techos

RCS Influencer Rudy Gutierrez says that Roofing Day in DC is very important to the future and success of the roofing industry.

Four of our Shell Roofing team members will be attending Roofing Day in DC. It is important to show up, support the roofing industry and advocate on behalf of the membership. We feel strongly about developing relationships with our State Senators and Congress Representatives to ensure that our concerns are heard.

Congress must address the concerns that impact the roofing industry including regulations, work force development and most important, the changing demographics in our county.

There is real power in numbers. When you have several hundred roofing industry members walking the halls of Congress addressing the issues that impact our industry, Congress takes notice. Collectively as an industry we make a difference if we show up and participate.

Our congressional meetings have been very productive. It has given us a glimpse how our federal government works and how change starts as a conversation.  Our experience attending Roofing Day in DC has been inspirational. It has kept us involved in our local and state government as it relates to our common issues. 

On April 22nd, we are going to do our part and meet with or State Senators and Congress Representatives to present the issues that most impact our members and the roofing industry. This will be our third year attending.  We are proud to be part of a Roofing Industry Movement. Roofing Day in DC 2020!!

El Día de Roofing Day in DC es muy importante para el futuro y el éxito de la industria de techos. Cuatro de nuestros miembros del equipo de Shell Roofing asistirán al Roofing Day in DC. Es importante presentarse, apoyar a la industria de techos y abogar en nombre de los miembros. Es importante desarrollar relaciones con nuestros Senadores Estatales y Representantes del Congreso para asegurar que nuestras preocupaciones sean escuchadas.

El Congreso debe abordar las preocupaciones que afectan a la industria de techos; regulaciones, desarollo de trabajadores y lo más importante, los cambios demográficos en nuestro paiz.

Hay un poder real en los números. Cuando tienes varios cientos de miembros de la industria de techos caminando por los pasillos del congreso abordando los problemas que afectan a nuestra industria, el congreso toma nota. Colectivamente como industria marcamos la diferencia si nos presentamos y participamos.

Nuestras reuniones del Congreso han sido muy productivas. Nos ha dado una idea de cómo funciona nuestro Gobierno Federal y cómo el cambio comienza como una conversación.  Nuestra experiencia para asistir al Roofing Day in DC ha sido inspiradora. Nos ha mantenido involucrados en nuestro gobierno local y estatal en lo que se refiere a nuestros problemas comunes. 

El 22 de Abril, vamos a hacer nuestra parte y reunirnos con o senadores estatales y representantes del Congreso para presentar los temas que más afectan a nuestros miembros y la industria de techos. Este será nuestro tercer año de asistencia.  Estamos orgullosos de ser parte de un movimiento de la industria de techos. ¡Roofing Day in DC 2020!!
