Instant Roofer is working to turn one of roofing’s most persistent bottlenecks into a strategic advantage. The company’s Instant Measure Reports and roofing calculator aim to speed up measurements, tighten quoting timelines and increase conversions. The idea is simple: measuring should help a deal move forward, not stall it. Founder Jeffrey Berzolla highlights that point, saying the company’s “measuring tech is AI powered and it is constantly changing.” That same engine now drives the reports contractors rely on, and the tools homeowners see on contractor websites.
The technology behind those reports is designed to evolve. Jeff explained that the system has grown from “four sources of data that powered our models” to “over two dozen,” all feeding a model that keeps improving. Whenever one component’s accuracy clears the company’s confidence threshold, it rolls straight into the contractor interface. Those changes arrive often, with Jeff noting that “we release at least one model a month,” and recently, “it’s been more like two or three.”
Contractors may notice the shift most clearly in how fast they can respond to new leads. Instant Measure Reports turn an address into a full roof snapshot in roughly 10 seconds. That stands in sharp contrast to what Jeff described as traditional options that are slow and expensive, often taking an hour to 24 hours. Costs stack up quickly as well, with reports priced anywhere from $18 to $120. For contractors who know that response time can make or break a sale, that difference matters.
Instant Roofer encourages contractors to make these reports their first step. Jeff has emphasized the stakes, warning, “When you get a lead, if you’re not using an instant Measure Report immediately, you’re blowing it.” Getting back to a homeowner quickly can change the outcome of the sale, while relying on slower measurement methods can eat into margins. Many contractors who once spent tens of thousands of dollars a year on traditional reports have shifted to the subscription model in an effort to control those costs.
Today, Instant Roofer offers both Instant Measure Reports and the roofing calculator under a single subscription following a 30-day free trial, with promotional pricing timed to busy sales windows. But the larger story sits beyond the subscription itself. A continuously improving measuring engine, shaped by real-world inputs, is changing expectations around how fast contractors can respond, qualify leads and win jobs.
