Roof Installer / Roofer – W2 Employee (Full-Time, Job Bonus Pay, Healthcare, Retirement, PTO) - No subs - 100% family and employee owned and operated business

Rose Roofing and Restoration (703) 334-2203    Website

Roof Installer (W2 — Full-Time) No subcontractors. No 1099. We hire real employees and we invest in them. Department: Operations | Reports to: Install Team Lead

Locations: Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia

Who We Are: Rose Roofing & Restoration is a family-founded, fast-growing exterior restoration company that does roofing the right way — durable installs, honest work with homeowners, and a crew that takes pride in what they put their name on. We're not a body shop that churns through subs. We build W2 teams, train people up, and give installers a real path to grow as the company grows.

If you want steady, reliable, and profitable work, a team that has your back, and leadership that actually treats people like people, keep reading.

What You'll Do: You'll be on the roof installing, repairing, and weatherproofing roofing systems on residential homes. Day to day, that means tearing off old or damaged roofing and clearing the worksite, then installing new systems — underlayment, vapor barriers, ventilation, shingles, asphalt, metal, and related materials — so the roof is tight and built to last. You'll cut and shape materials to fit cleanly around chimneys, vents, and walls, and seal joints, nail heads, and other leak points with cement or caulk. Setting up and breaking down ladders, scaffolding, and hoisting equipment safely is part of the job, as is following every safety protocol and local building code without cutting corners. You'll keep your Team Lead in the loop on progress and flag any issues early so we solve them before they become problems.

What You Bring: You know your way around the tools of the trade — hammers, nail guns, roofing shovels, tin snips, and the like. You've got an eye for detail, because aligning materials right and sealing a roof properly is what separates a job we're proud of from a callback. Basic math gets you through measuring roofs and figuring material quantities. You don't need a formal degree; most installers learn on the job or through an apprenticeship, and we're glad to train the right person who shows up ready to work. A valid driver's license is usually required since you'll travel between job sites.

Certifications: OSHA 10-hour card (required, or we'll help you get it after hire) Valid driver's license, clean record preferred

What the Work Is Really Like: This is physical, outdoor work. You'll lift heavy materials and spend long stretches bending, kneeling, and standing, sometimes in tough weather. You need to be comfortable and steady working at heights and on steep slopes, with the balance and focus to stay safe up there. Precision matters in your hands, and so does being a reliable teammate — install crews move fast and finish strong when everybody pulls their weight. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role.

Why Rose: We pay W2, not piece-rate sub work, which means real employment, real teammates, and real accountability on both sides. We promote from the field, we train, and we're growing — which means opportunity for people who show up and do good work. We believe in promoting from within and have an immense amount of personal development programs here at Rose to train you for leadership in the company. We are 100% employee and founding family owned and operated.
