Position Title: Sales Manager

Employment Status: Full Time, Base Salary + Commissions

 

Position Purpose and Objectives:
The role of the Sales Manager at Matrix Roof & Home involves leading and managing the sales team to drive revenue growth, develop and maintain client relationships, and ensure the achievement of sales targets. As a Sales Manager, you will strategize, implement, and monitor sales initiatives to maximize profitability and expand the company's market presence. You will serve as a key figure in guiding the sales team to deliver exceptional customer service and foster long-term partnerships.

In this role, you will be a pivotal representative of the Matrix Roof & Home brand, contributing significantly to the company's growth and success. As a member of the Matrix family, you'll lead by example, motivating your team to excel and create positive, lasting impressions with clients. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and sales targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and professional development.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base and increase market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to inform decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.
  • Oversee the sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-up on leads and opportunities.
  • Handle escalated customer inquiries and issues, ensuring satisfactory resolution.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve sales processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the sales budget and ensure cost-effective allocation of resources.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • You will be tasked with lead overflow and tasked with developing and pursuing commercial and federal leads/contracts to further drive sales revenue.
  • Other duties as assigned by the organization.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven experience as a sales manager or in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to drive sales growth and address challenges.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales management tools.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the roofing or construction industry.
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft products.
  • Understanding of industry-specific processes and terminology.

 

Physical Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in an office environment, utilizing a computer and other office equipment.
  • Some light physical activity may be required for tasks such as attending client meetings and site visits.
