Position Purpose and Objectives:
The role of the Project Manager at Matrix Roof & Home encompasses that of a skilled project leader dedicated to orchestrating the smooth execution of roofing projects for our clients. In this capacity, you will act as the vital link between clients, the construction team, and various internal departments, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. You will remain in contact with clients throughout the project's lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage roofing projects from start to finish, including obtaining permits, coordinating deliveries, and scheduling inspections.
- Supervise roofing crews and subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications and safety standards.
- Communicate project progress, budget, and timelines effectively to stakeholders, including clients, management, and team members.
- Monitor project budgets and expenses; prepare and submit project cost estimates and progress reports.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction or installation phases promptly and professionally.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess work quality, progress, and safety compliance.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and material submittals.
- Collaborate with sales and estimating teams to review project proposals and provide input on project feasibility and requirements.
- Assist in job closeout and job costing/profitability analysis.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
- Proficiency in project management principles and tools to ensure projects stay on track.
- Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy and quality in project documentation.
- Problem-solving abilities to address issues proactively and find effective solutions.
- Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Proficiency in using relevant software tools and systems for project tracking and communication.
- Collaborative nature, able to work effectively within a team and across departments.
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in roofing project management, construction management, or a related role.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools, and CRMs.
- Proficient in Microsoft products.
- Understanding of industry-specific processes and terminology.
Physical Qualifications:
- Ability to work in an office environment, utilizing a computer and other office equipment.
- Some light physical activity may be required for tasks such as site visits and inspections.
Salary: $50,000 / year
Commission Percentage: 1% of total sales revenue
