Perry Roofing Contractors, a trusted leader in commercial roofing for 50 years, is seeking an experienced, results-driven commercial superintendent. The Commercial Roofing Superintendent is responsible for supervising and managing the full scope of daily field operations on commercial roofing projects. This includes ensuring projects are completed safely, on-time, within budget, and in accordance with project plans, specifications, manufacturer requirements, and the highest standards of workmanship. The Superintendent plays a key role in field leadership, coordinating with project managers, foremen, subcontractors, general contractors, inspectors, and clients to ensure efficient project execution and a superior customer service experience.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee daily field operations for commercial roofing projects from mobilization through completion.
· Plan and coordinate schedules, staffing, and site logistics (labor, materials, equipment) to meet production goals.
· Lead and direct foremen, crews, and subcontractors to maintain productivity, quality, and alignment with project objectives.
· Ensure all work complies with plans, specifications, building codes, company standards, and safety regulations (OSHA).
· Monitor jobsite quality and safety, enforcing policies and addressing issues proactively to minimize delays and cost impacts.
· Coordinate with internal project managers, general contractors, inspectors, vendors, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
· Track and report project progress, including daily reports, documentation, timekeeping, and cost awareness.
· Train, mentor, and evaluate field personnel; support ongoing development and departmental training initiatives.
· Assist with preconstruction efforts, including site evaluations, logistics planning, and input on labor and project approach.
· Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and high performance across field operations.
· Travel as required, including up to 25% out-of-town assignments with overnight stays.
