Here's the worst ponding I have seen, that was not caused by a clogged drain or scupper. "That's what happens every time it pours", said the property owner. OMG!

AHHH I found the problem.. Lack of a roof inspection! I ended up letting the gal return her pumps and I told her to call a plumber! Why don't property owners just inspect their roofs????

These were foam roofs with a lip around the perimeter- EVERY building held water- the property owner had to make some serious decisions!

This was my signature photo on all my marketing materials and trade booths- It was taken in Corpus Cristi, Texas. I told the building owner that he didn't need a roofer but a wetlands expert or at the very least a landscaper.

Here's another one, over 3" of water. Like I said, if you have pics I will add them to my product website (it's international) and give you credit and links to back your website....

If I had pix from the 70's. I bet I could beat anything anybody else has.

A motel chain. Building about 250' or so long. Typical design about 70' wide, rooms in th center, walks and balconies on sides. Mechanical down the center between the rooms. Drains about 8' from the outer edges and downspouts on outside of building. Designed to hold water on the BUR to prolong it's life. :) The roof was designed and built to hold about 4' of water. 5' if the drains clogged. As a crwmna on the job, I made complaints several times that the design was faulty. I got cussed outnumerous times for raising nonexistant issues.

We had monsoon like rains a few weeks after we completed the job and i was told to go out there, find the leak(s) and repair it/them ASAP!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

I go and I see water coming from under every door on every floor. Manager hollering at me as I set my ladder up. I went up and take a look and told him I couldn't see any issues. B) He called the Boss to tell him what I said and told me to talk to the Boss. Again, I said I couldn't see anything wrong AT ALL. :) He asked if there were leaks. Said I didn't think so. He asked if water was getting into the building and I said it was running out of every door there and even washing the carpeting out too. B)

I was asked if I had lost my mind. I said no, the 2-1/2' tall ventalators down the center of the building were doing agreat job of draining the roof like they were designed to do, and like I had complained I didn't like the design. I left. :P

Kinda looks like a roof designed to be a coal tar swamper.

I never saw the roof in-person, a customer sent the picture it to me from Canada. He said that the wall scuppers were too high. Most likely from the roof settling.

BTW, if there are any roofers out there that have pictures of ponding roofs I can post them to my product website (It's not restricted to one geographical area) in return, credit and links back to their website will be provided. Just email me, thanks.
