Andy writes - "Can sure tell where the great looks come from . . . ."
Why thanks, Andy. And I barely took time to comb my hair either. LOL>>>
Mike,
You and "grandma" Hicks are very blessed! Can sure tell where the great looks come from . . . .
Our family has been through similar stuff . . . knowing what we now know . . . . we would've preferred to skip the kids and go directly to the grandkids. 'Course, it doesn't work that way . . . .>>>
Thanks Patty :)>>>
You're a lucky man Mike. :)>>>
"Kids can be taught right from wrong but at the end of the day they make their own decisions.I've seen siblings who were raised under the same roof and had been taught the same values, one becomes a big shot lawyer the other ends up in jail.Poor parents are blamed when things go wrong." I can't help but wonder what went wrong there. And no clue which son the family was most ashamed of either.>>>

I'm still telling my daughters boyfriends, to have a heads up, or i'll take it off.>>>
Hi MikeH,
Congradulations
It could have been worse. LOL You could have had me for a son. LOL
I was 17 and Bets was 15, when we moved in together. Took me 19 years to start appling what I was taught going up.
"This is just some of the many loving family that waited for many, many hours in a cramped waiting room for the news. Both of these "kids" are getting a lot of family support from both sides." THat's awesome. I never spent much time in the waiting room. Not even for wife's surgery. I went out to eat. On long ones, I went home to let the dog play with orders for the surgeon to call when she went to recovery. I think 6 times in past 2 years.>>>
Congratulations! What an awesome feeling that must be.
My daughter has seen so many of her friends and relatives have babies when they were teenagers that she has decided not to have children any time soon. My son just turned 21 and is too busy with work and trying to make a life for himself that he claims to be "very careful". I guess it helps that his best friend just got a gal pregnant and mine sees what he is now going through.
I despair that I will never be a grandmother! My daughter tries to pacify me by "borrowing" grandchildren for me from her friends but it is just not the same.
To those of you who have grandchildren - you truely are blessed! I know we are taught not to covet thy neighbors goods but in this case, I just can't help it. I am jealous!
