Hatchetman - I use them. So far as I know they pay the taxes. Of course it's possible that they aren't but that would be criminal on their part. As employees of AMS (the company that All Industries Underwriters uses), they would be liable for taxes, not you.>>>

I have been talking with the ALL INDUSTRY UNDERWRITERS company. Im asking if any of you use them? And if you do; is there a way that lets you check to make sure they are paying all withholdings on your behalf. I got stung once before many years ago. Just looking for input on this company.---------------------H>>>

:S Is there anyone out there still dealing with State Fund in CA. Or better yet are there still any mom & pop outfits working or has this must have workers comp put us all out of business? When I signed up they told me that the "deposit" would roll over from 1 year to the next "It is a 1 time fee" the guy said Now the only thing rolling over is the policy and I can't seem to get them to stop billing even after retiring my license. If anyone else is having this same fun I talked to a lawyer today and he told me to file a small claims lawsuit. This is ridiculous I have not had employees in 10 years, Just me and my wife doing repair work. They have made it not worth it.>>>

I work with a Brokerage out of Atlanta and we have multiple PEO/Employee Leasing companies we represent. These PEO's handle all of your Payroll, Worker's Comp, and HR services. Usually there is a large discount over standalone WC policies and NO DOWN>>>

Robert, I'll have to check into the hour a day for loading trucks, or even drive time to and from jobs. I hadn't thought of that, but hooray if they allow it. St. Paul Travelers (my last w.c. company) wouldn't even recognize paid holidays for employe>>>

Hi everyone. I used AMS staff leasing. It worked out great.

Know I found one newer company in town that does the same thing. Staff leasing is becoming more and more popular. I am one of about 5 companies in our city that are set up legit. No permits>>>

We use a union leasing firm for our work. It works the same, but they are the signatory party and we are all union employees. When we need more help, we just hire and fire through them. Actually, it is a layoff. We can collect unemployment when work i>>>

HOP I just wanted to give you an update and thank you again. I've set everything up with All Industry. After examining everything closely we've determined that the change will save 15 to 20 thousand in workers comp. in the next 12 months. They don>>>

Employee Leasing - You still hire and fire as you would any employee except in this "co-employer" arrangement they give you a multiplier that includes the taxes and workers compensation premium. The Employee Leasing Company can make money because they>>>

H.O.P., thanks for the help. Talked to a rep today and they will be getting me a side by side comparison to see if it's worth it to me.

Mike, I also know very little about employee leasing companies so far. I do know that you keep all of your employ>>>
