2026 Building of the Year Awards
The NFBA Building of the Year Awards consists of 10 categories plus a Judges’ Award. The Building of the Year Awards allows builder member companies of comparable size to compete against each other. Each of the 10 award categories has three divisions:
- Experts: Builders who have an estimated $0-3 million in annual gross volume.
- Masters: Builders who have an estimated $3-6 million in annual gross volume.
- Premier: Builders who have an estimated $6+ million in annual gross volume.

- Commercial Retail
- Commercial Business / Industrial
- Hobby Shops
- Horse Barns
- Institutional / Public Non-Profit Buildings
- Residential Homes
- Retrofitted / Remodeled Buildings
