In this MetalTalk, Megan Ellsworth sat down with Sherwin-William's MetalVue Marketing Segment Manager, Junny Lee, and the MetalVue OEM Project Manager, Brendan McGinnis, to talk about how this program helps metal contractors grow their businesses. The MetalVue program is a network and collection of resources that contractors can leverage to make their daily operations more efficient and effective. Brendan explained, “Sherwin-Williams has well established itself as a provider of great service and great products... The MetalVue program aims to take that brand and make it available to our contractors, to our manufacturers in a way that lets them harness that as part of their sales process.”
One of the ways that MetalVue utilizes that Sherwin-Williams brand power is through the different integrations available to contractors. Junny explained, “Sherwin-Williams has a lot of connections and resources. In this program, we've factored in as much as possible. We're still continuously improving it, but anything that a person needs, we factor that in.” One example of this is the Grosso University training that contractors can connect their team to.
Contractors working within the MetalVue program also get the advantage of tools that have been developed by Sherwin-Williams' expert team. This is everything from sell sheets and marketing assets to project tracking and estimating in the MetalVue Roofing Passport. Junny elaborated, “We're still continuously improving it, but anything that a person needs, we factor that in... As a part of that, we just re-released Roofing Passport. Now the UI/UX is all significantly improved, you can manage your jobs, your projects, your quotes much better and much more efficiently than in the past. At the end of the day, we want to help you succeed in metal.”
