NX Seal® is a 40-mil, self-adhering sheet membrane made from a high-tensile polyester film coated with a specially formulated rubberized asphalt adhesive. It’s designed to work under siding and exterior plaster and it's equally effective in both vertical and horizontal applications. MFM Building products states, “This economical system aggressively bonds to the substrate and seals around fasteners to prevent damage caused by water penetration.”

With a uniform thickness for dependable coverage, NX Seal® is built to perform in a broad range of jobsite conditions. Available in roll sizes ranging from 6 to 36 inches wide and 75 feet long, the product offers flexibility for different job scopes. Its rubberized asphalt core resists cracking and drying and is capable of self-sealing around nails, staples and screws — critical for withstanding water intrusion in high-risk zones like parapets, chimney shoulders and pot shelves.

Notably, the system is vapor-tight, so proper ventilation is a must. MFM Building Products recommends using its Low-VOC Spray Adhesive™ for better performance in cooler temperatures.
