Products that work year-round with you

Products that work year-round with you
January 10, 2026 at 3:00 a.m.

By Emma Peterson.

At SOPREMA, they know the roofing project doesn’t wait for ideal conditions. That’s why they design products that perform even in the harshest conditions.

In a new episode of Roofing Road Trips®, Heidi J. Ellsworth and Darci Kunard, SOPREMA’s national sales manager, sat down for a conversation about how SOPREMA’s roofing solutions are designed to support contractors year-round, both in performance and installation.

All year performance

In recent years, we have seen an uptick in extreme weather, whether it’s wintertime hail or summer hurricanes. Because of this, it is more important than ever to work with products that you can trust and rely on no matter the elements they face throughout their lifespan. And that is exactly what SOPREMA has designed their products to be.

Whether its SBS-modified bitumen, single-ply PVC or another one of their time-tested products, SOPREMA has engineered them to protect people, property and possessions against whatever Mother Nature throws at them. Darci shared, “We create products that are truly reliable. They’re easy to work with and very durable... At the end of the day you don't have to worry about SOPREMA products. You're able to put it on and move on with your day and know and trust that that product is really good and high performing.”

Year-round installation

The SOPREMA team knows that having the capacity to work on client projects year-round is a huge game changer for contractors. As Darci explained, “As a roofer, you are there for people in emergencies. And those emergencies don’t usually come with the ideal work conditions. You might get called out because somebody's roof is leaking or someone has an ice dam that broke through, now their whole house is full of water and you need to repair it instantly.”

That’s why SOPREMA has made sure that their products not only perform year-round but can be installed year-round. Darci elaborated, “We know that whatever products are on the contractor's truck, it is an absolute requirement that they're able to work with any substrate and in any type of weather... That’s why we make sure our products can work on all kind of installations, we know that you need to be able to tackle the unexpected and the inconvenient.”
