It is the goal of the American Sports Builders Association (ASBA) to provide this information. Note that the information in this manual is not intended to replace that provided by the governing body for each sport, and, in fact, those interested in installing playing areas are advised to contact the specific governing body for rules and information. 

The manual, which is over 200 pages, walks readers through every part of an indoor wood sports surface’s lifespan – from design and installation to maintenance and renovation. It includes contributions from top flooring professionals and the National Wood Flooring Association. Further, there it features a variety of technical drawings and diagrams that make it easy to understand, whether you are a newcomer to the market or a seasoned professional.
