Exposed fastener metal roofing & metal wall panels

Exposed fastener panels are the most affordable type of metal roofing and siding. They’re a great choice for your residential or commercial building. Buy exposed fastener panels directly from the manufacturer for your roof or wall and save.

The main disadvantage is that the fasteners penetrate the panels and pin the sheets in place. The sheets cannot expand and contract in the same manner as a standing seam panel. The screws may back themselves out and have to be re-tightened or replaced.

Standing seam metal roofing panels

There are three types of standing seam metal roofing panels and all of them are a concealed fastener system. This means that the fasteners on each metal panel are not visible or exposed to the weather. Concealed fastener panels are more weather-tight and expensive when compared to exposed fastener panels.

• Mechanically seamed - The panel edges are connected together with a roof seamer.
• Snap lock panels with concealed fasteners and clips - The clips attach to the panel and fasten directly onto the roof deck.
• Nail strip or nail flange - A standing seam panel that does not use clips.

Exposed fastener metal roofing & metal wall panels

Exposed fastener panels are the most affordable type of metal roofing and siding. They’re a great choice for your residential or commercial building. Buy exposed fastener panels directly from the manufacturer for your roof or wall and save.

Exposed fastener metal roof and wall panels are designed so that the fasteners will pierce through the face of the metal panels and attach directly onto the structure. The fastener head will be visible and will not be concealed by the panel seam.

Concealed fastener metal wall panels

Concealed fastener metal wall panels are available in a flush wall panel, reveal panels, wave panels, and standing seam. We offer six types of siding to choose from in over 100 colors. Buy manufacturer direct and save!

Concealed fastener metal wall panels are attached to the substructure without any visible fasteners. Instead, concealed fastener panels are installed with clips and/or screws that are attached behind the face of the panel. Once installed, concealed fasteners are not visible on the exterior of the wall. They are hidden inside interlocking panel joints for protection from the elements, creating a smooth appearance that is more aesthetically pleasing than exposed fastener roofing panels.
