ounded over two decades ago, the RCI-IIBEC Foundation has become a beacon of progress, having amassed more than $4 million in donations. These contributions have been pivotal in expanding research, providing scholarships and sponsoring educational events that shape the future of our industry. At the RCI-IIBEC Foundation, we are dedicated to supporting research, education and the dissemination of information critical to the advancement of the building enclosure industry.
We support research, education and information sharing to advance the building enclosure industry. By donating, applying for grants or participating in our scholarship and sponsorship programs, you contribute to a thriving community dedicated to excellence in building science.
We believe in the power of transparency to build trust and demonstrate our commitment to ethical practices and responsible stewardship of the resources entrusted to us.
Join the RCI-IIBEC Foundation and RCI Foundation Canada to network with fellow building enclosure professionals and raise funds to support student programs while participating in a golf tournament on Thursday, March 12 at the Haggin Oaks Alister MacKenzie Course in Sacramento, California. This year's foundations golf outing is sponsored by SOPREMA and Performance Roof Systems.
The format will be a four-person scramble, $350 cost per golfer and will include golf fee and cart, range balls prior to golf, breakfast, lunch buffet, drinks and beverage cart service.
Cash prizes will be awarded for the first and fifth place foursomes, longest drive men and women (front and back nine), and closest to pin (front and back nine). Additionally, there will be a raffle on site for a variety of donated items, so bring your cash or credit card!
Proceeds from this event will support the Joe Hale Student Sponsorship Fund, the Robert W. Lyons and Lewis W. Newlan scholarship funds. The Joe Hale Student Sponsorship Fund has helped sponsor over 428 students to attend the IIBEC International Convention and Trade Show and IIBEC BES by covering registration, hotel, meals and travel expenses. The Lyons and Newlan scholarships are academic scholarships given out annually to up to eight students studying architecture, engineering, building and construction sciences.
